My name is @jesper. I work in the IT services industry, and I have created this map:
It shows a map of a system landscape, as we are used to. But I have labelled the evolution axis a bit differently - still it’s about the relative position from unknown/uncharted to embedded/industrialized. For details I read up on how Erik Schön describes the four stages.
It’s probably only half-way right, but with this I can consider:
- How far can I move the elements to the right?
- What inertia blocks movement?
- Which ones can I move the furthest?
With the map (position and movement) I can consider what happens when risks change and evolves. What are your experiences in mapping risks?
