I have updated the link. I have no idea why you can’t edit the post :-(. What icons do you see there?

Might be this:

There is a configuration item, post edit time limit, that limits for how long posts can be edited. It defaults to 86400 minutes (2 months).

I’ve set timeout to 0, so editing should now work for all, all the time.
