tristan.slominski

This is a Request For Comments about how to structure doctrine in terms of microdoctrine (a pattern language for implementing and learning doctrine)

Phase: Stop Self Harm
Category: Operation
Principle: Know The Details
Practice: Identify Constraints

Motivation:
Know the details. Know what is involved in building the thing. This allows others to challenge, find missing components and create a common image which can be communicated with others.

Consider these first :
Understand The Value Chain and Identify Differentials and Identify Barriers To Entry

Illustrative description:
Identify constraints and the balance of power between consumers and suppliers. Consider Porter’s five forces.

Detailed description :
Analyze each component in the value chain from perspective of Porter’s five forces. Porter’s five forces function as a constraint model on the components and shape what we can do with them.
